Judges/Coaches/Friend of Yoga Members:

1. Please pay the membership dues.

2. Fill out the USA Yoga membership form.

You must fill out the Membership form in order for your payment to be applied properly. Please only register one person per payment.

Registering your region with USA yoga provides you with the following:

·      Step by step guide to organizing a USA Yoga sanctioned state/regional championship

·      Procedures for collecting tax-exempt donations, using USA Yoga’s non-profit status

·      Banking recommendations and best practices

·      2 sample budgets to follow

·      A template letter to potential sponsors, including sponsorship tiers

·      Sample raffle tickets and entry tickets (for when ticket sales are appropriate)

·      Sample press release

·      List of registered, qualified judges

·      USA Yoga Certificates of Participation and Achievement

·      USA Yoga Scoring and Tabulation templates

·      Follow up letters and evaluation forms 

USA Yoga is qualified for tax-exempt status under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).  Contributions to USA Yoga may be taken as a charitable deduction on federal tax returns in the maximum amount allowed by law.  USA Yoga has not yet qualified for tax-exempt status with any states; therefore, donations to the organization may not be deductible on state tax returns.  Consult with your accountant or tax preparer for further advice.
